Angle Tree
Focusing on Missions: In our Community

Angel Tree

Start looking for this logo as we begin to contact families that we can minister to this Christmas season.  Angel Tree  is a ministry that reaches out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ.  It seeks to transform the lives of these families and to reconcile them with each other and their Heavenly Father.  This Christmas you can reach out with the love of Christ by being a giver, deliverer or pray partner with us.  However God calls you to be a minister, we want you to share in the joy of reconciliation.

If you are interested in being a giver, we will have angels on a Christmas tree with the names of the children and their caregivers.  It will also have gift ideas and the ages of the children.  On November 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th you will have the opportunity to choose an angel from the 24 children we are ministering to this year. The gifts will need to be returned by December 2nd.

If you are interested in being a deliverer, we will be visiting the families and delivering the gifts the morning of December 15th.  Please let Larry or Jackie Reid know if you would like to serve as a deliverer.

If you are interested in being a prayer partner, begin praying now for the children, their families who care for them, as well as the incarcerated parent(s).  Pray that each child will know that God cares for them in a special way, that this ministry can touch the caregivers and the parents.  Pray for the ministry participants within our church body as they share God’s love.

Delivery will be on December 15, 2012, so don't wait to get involved!
